The Evolving Cotton Story

$85.00

Please join us at Eden Forest Collective in Fillmore, CA, for a farm tour, cotton talk, and lunch. A small group of regenerative ag practitioners, brand designers, sustainability professionals, and artisans will gather for a farm talk and tour of Eden Forest’s syntropic cotton experiment, share our own stories of cotton, discuss speculative futures and local fiber, and enjoy a shared lunch. We may also have a meditation, time and interest permitting!

Address will be sent to ticketed guests. Please be prepared to be outside, bring a hat and water, and wear farm-appropriate shoes.

This event will be limited to 20 people to ensure an opportunity for thoughtful dialogue, storytelling, and playing with potentialities for future projects or collaborative artefacts.

Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Our practice is based in the greater Los Angeles area, originally Tovaangar (Los Angeles basin, South Channel Islands); the traditional lands of the Tongva people. We acknowledge that their sovereignty was never ceded, and we pay our respects to the Honuukvetam (Ancestors), Ahiihirom (Elders), and eyoohiinkem (relatives/relations) past, present, and emerging.

“We are called upon to be the architects of the future, not its victims.”

  • Buckminster Fuller
