Sustainable Cotton Project Farm Tour
October 30, 2025

Join us for a behind the scenes look at Cotton Cultivation in California's great San Joaquin Valley.

Responsible Fashion Series invites you to participate in a tour of the Sustainable Cotton Project Farm with an international group of fashion educators and industry members.


Thursday, October 30 
8.30am - 4.30pm

The Farm Tour is $70 per person and $50 for students.

A Complementary Bus provided by Sustainable Cotton Project departs from Los Angeles on Wednesday, Oct 29 at 3:30pm. The bus arrives in Firebaugh the evening before the tour and will return to Los Angeles the evening of Thursday, Oct 30 at approx. 8:30 pm.

A bus will pick the group up from the Apricot Inn the morning of Thursday, Oct 30 at 8:30am to take us to the farm.

The tour of the farm will include:

  • meeting directly with cotton farmers and scientists

  • learning about biological and regenerative practices

  • seeing cotton being harvested, ginned, baled and ready for shipment to a spinner

  • touching a range of products made from California Cotton

  • a local lunch

At the conclusion of the tour, the bus will return to Los Angeles arriving in downtown LA / ASU FIDM at approximately 8:30pm.
