As part of our Slow and Local 2025 Project we have invited guest speakers from our Fibershed community. These talks will run about 30-45 minutes with 15 minutes for Q&A.

• Wednesday, April 9 at 6 pm we will be joined by special guest Jenya Schneider of Cuyama Lamb. Jenya will talk about wildfire mitigation, resilience, and the broader ecosystem issues within So Cal.

The remainder of the meetup time will be for the Slow and Local cohort to share and show-and-tell with their fiber projects.

Funds from these talks pay speaker honoraria and offset the costs of our tech platforms! The So Cal Fibershed chapter is an entirely membership-funded organization. Thank you for your support!!!
